Appointments are suggested for service and available for Brevard residents only.
You can conduct multiple services under one appointment! However, you cannot share your appointment with another customer. Each customer or family member requires an appointment. Road tests are the only service that cannot be combined with another appointment type.

Please note, we process payments. The Property Appraiser can assist you with concerns regarding your property's market/just value, assessed value, or exemptions that impact your tax amount.
For concerns regarding amounts collected on behalf of a specific Taxing Authority shown on the front of your tax bill, contact the taxing authority directly.

Did you just move to Florida? Recently purchased a vehicle? An application for Florida title must be completed. These transactions require a Title Transaction appointment.
Vehicles registered in a business name may renew online or via mail.

The owner of a license plate can mail it to our office or relinquish the plate in person. No appointment is required for this service (walk-ins accepted).
If your driving privilege has already been suspended, or is pending suspension, due to cancellation of insurance, please call (321) 264-6935 before proceeding.

- Class E Written Knowledge Exam in order to obtain a learner’s license. To obtain a Learner’s License, customers must be at least 15 years old.
- CDL testing or endorsements.

*Road Tests will be suspended during inclement weather for the safety of the driver and examiner.
- The written Hazmat exam is required to be taken for all original Hazmat and all renewal Hazmat endorsed license applications.
- Fingerprinting must be done in an office at the same time the application for a Hazmat endorsement is made.
- An application form must be completed at the time of fingerprinting to be sent to TSA. The application is available online.
- An application fee of $91 will be charged to cover costs of the background check process, in addition to the standard driver license issuance fee for the Commercial Driver License and for each endorsement.
- New residents of Florida, requesting to transfer an out-of-state Hazmat endorsement to their Florida Commercial Driver License, must retake the written test AND redo the background check and finger printing. Fees for the background check and fingerprinting must also be paid again.

Complete this form to renew or apply for a disabled person parking permit. This same form is also used when applying for a disabled license plate.
Once the form is completed, please submit it for processing, via mail or visit one of our branch offices.

You can apply for the First- time or Renew a Concealed Weapon License in our office. Due to equipment restrictions, CWL applications will only be accepted in the Viera, Titusville-GCN (6th Floor), Palm Bay and Merritt Island Offices.
If your CWL has been lost, stolen or destroyed, you can obtain a replacement license by contacting the Florida Department of Agriculture. Our office does not process replacement licenses.

The Tax Collector is an agent of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Division of Marine Fisheries for the sale of hunting licenses, freshwater and saltwater fishing licenses, vessel fishing licenses, game management permits, lifetime, and 5-year licenses. All annual privileges expire 12 months from the privilege start date.
You can obtain licenses by visiting any of the Tax Collector’s offices or a license may be purchased from Wal-Mart, K-Mart, various sporting goods outlets or bait and tackle shops.
A lost or destroyed license may be replaced for $2.00 per privilege with the exception of the Resident Lifetime license. The replacement cost of this license is $10.00.
