Your registration is not eligible for online processing...  

Stops on your customer record, or registration, can be reasons that you may not be able to renew online (or in person). These stops must be cleared prior to renewing your registration. Once you have taken action to have a stop removed, the system can take one to three business days to be cleared for renewal.  We cannot expedite this process.  

 

Common Registration Stops

  • Toll Violation
    • As described in Florida Statutes, a registration hold prevents the renewal to a person until the underlying toll, fine and/or fee has been paid to the appropriate governmental entity. We cannot clear toll violations over the phone.  You must contact the Central Florida Expressway Authority, at (407) 690-5200, to settle the dispute prior to renewing online.

  • Proof of Insurance Required
    • It's possible your vehicle's insurance is out of date.  If your insurance company notifies us that you cancelled a policy, and no other active policy is reported by another insurance company, you must provide the required insurance coverage information.
